Every now and then I like to send something that is just fun and reflective. I hope today’s message is that for you.

I recently came across The Best Ted Talk Ever Sold. I won’t give too much of it away but I think you’ll find it worth the 19 minutes to watch it to the end.

Ask yourself:

• What is your brand?
• Are you “up” or “down”?
• What do you fear or avoid?
• What’s your story?
• Who are you?

As managers and leaders, the more we understand who we are and how we “show up” in the workplace, the better we can work with others and find fulfillment in work and life. Knowing who you are is important in taking new chances and risks. Opportunities and growth happen when we’re willing to take those chances. What are you willing to try? What’s “new” with you?
